EA has now released the full specs for the Crysis Warhead branded PC, which will apparently ship with Windows XP Professional edition.
EA has teamed with Nvidia and UltraPC to offer this single-spec machine which is guaranteed to run the upcoming Crysis Warhead on high settings without ever dropping below 30 frames per second. The big caveats are though that EA has still not confirmed what resolution the machine will run at, though we do know that it'll be running Crysis in DirectX 9 mode and without all the 64-bit enhancements.
The machine is still competitively priced however at $699.99, especially considering it comes with the OS included, and the offer of a one year parts and labour warranty is something we weren't expecting either.
The PC will come with an 9800GT 512MB, an Intel Core 2 Duo E7300 running at 2.66GHz and two gigabytes of DDR2 RAM. Keyboard, chassis and mouse are all included too - but expect a monitor to cost extra by the look of it.
The Crysis Warhead machine will ship at the same time as the game, which is out later this month and which again plunges players into the alien / Korean / American tropical conflict, though this time the action is viewed from the perspective of American Delta Force soldier, Psycho.
