Infinity Ward: "Stop interviewing Treyarch"

In a furious internet rant on his work blog Infinity Ward community manager Rob Bowling has called for sites to stop interviewing Treyarchs Noah Heller, who he feels is drawing nonsense comparisons between Call of Duty 5 and Call of Duty 4.

While COD 5 is being developed by Treyarch, COD4 was created by Infinity Ward and the two entirely separate teams have traditionally divided the franchise - with Infinity Ward creating the superior titles in the eyes of many fans and critics.

What's irked Infinity Ward lately though is that Treyarch has been comparing the its own World at War with Infinity Wards Call of Duty 4, and making some apparently bogus claims in the process. Speaking on his work blog, community manager Robert Bowling expressed his frustration with World at War senior producer Noah Heller directly.

"You didn’t work on previous Call of Dutys, so don’t talk as if you’re down with how / why things were designed the way they were. Second, you’re completely f*****g wrong." posted Rob.

"Can you guys please stop interviewing this guy, talk to someone who actually works on the Dev Team at Treyarch and knows what the f**k they’re talking about?" pleaded Rob after Noah made some bogus claims about weapon design in Call of Duty 4. "Not Senior Super Douche Noah Heller from Activision - who apparently has never played the game and doesn’t even work at the developer."
